Lesson Overview
In the first part of this lesson, children will work on English, learning how to use hyphens and dashes accurately to join words, clarify meaning and add emphasis. In the second part of the lesson, we will move on to Verbal Reasoning, focusing on Complete the Word questions, where a three-letter word has been removed from a longer word and children must find the missing word that makes sense in the sentence.
