Our safeguarding is overseen by Designated Safeguarding Lead–trained school leaders with decades of experience. Every member of the Virtual Academy team holds full enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks. We follow strict school-level safeguarding standards, and our full Safeguarding Policy is available for parents to review at any time.
Safe Interaction & Moderation
Children can only interact with their teacher — never with other students. All responses are fully moderated, and no sharing of images or personal information is ever permitted. Teachers maintain full control of the learning environment, ensuring every lesson is safe, focused and child-friendly.
Secure Online Learning Environment
All live lessons are monitored and securely recorded for safeguarding. Our platform uses strict privacy, chat-moderation and content-filtering controls to ensure a protected digital space. Every child can learn confidently knowing their safety is our top priority.
